Qua-Geh was founded by Maude Davis. It has 11 members and has been in existence for more than 20 years.  

Qua-Geh is one of several guilds that are members of the National Quilters Association of Liberia.  Qua-Geh has trained some 29 individuals in the art of quilting. Quilting in Liberia is a heritage of the freed slaves who settled there in the 1800s, bringing this form of appliqué quilting from the United States.
